Developer/Integrator Guide

Goals

  • Connect an app to the gateway quickly and safely.
  • Use routing policies to control cost and latency.
  • Store prompts in the repository and call them by ID.
  1. Create an API key for your environment.
  2. Configure providers and routing defaults.
  3. Save prompts in the repository.
  4. Execute prompts through the gateway.

Example: Execute a stored prompt

bash
curl https://app.veriprompt.tech/api/gateway/execute \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "promptId": "prompt_123",
    "input": "Summarize last quarter revenue changes.",
    "routingPolicy": {
      "strategy": "balanced",
      "maxLatencyMs": 3000
    }
  }'

Tips

  • Use environment variables for keys and base URLs.
  • Keep prompt logic in the repository for version history.
  • Use synthetic testing before pushing a prompt to production.
